Mysuru: The Bhagavad Gita is “a system of our lives and there is nothing wrong in teaching it to schoolchildren”, SA Ramadasthe BJP MLA from Krishnaraja assembly constituency, said on Friday. He claimed that India is the land of Hindus and “it is the only Hindu nation among 227 countries in the world. The Bhagavad Gita is a system of life. Sri Krishna has taught life based on religion and what is wrong in giving it to the children?” he asked. He added, “Gita is a psychology book. There is nothing wrong with incorporating it into the curriculum.” TNN
