Violence in Howrah for the second consecutive day over the Pangbar dispute: Mamta said – why should the public bear the sin of BJP; Bengal BJP President arrested

Violence erupted after Friday prayers against the alleged controversial remarks on the Prophet. In the three states of the country, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal, people took to the streets and stone pelting took place at many places. In 8 cities of Uttar Pradesh Prayagraj, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Hathras, Aligarh, Jalaun, people created a ruckus.

Here, in Howrah, Bengal, for the second consecutive day, that is, on Saturday, the mob pelted stones at the police. Police used tear gas to disperse the crowd. Here, Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar, who was trying to go to the violence-hit areas of Howrah, has been arrested by the police.

On the other hand, strict curfew has been imposed in Ranchi after the violence. The affected areas have been sealed and the government has warned anyone not to leave the house.

1. West Bengal: Ruckus continues for the second consecutive day
The riots that started on Friday continued on Saturday as well. In Howrah’s Panchla Bazar, protesters pelted stones at the police. Police fired tear gas shells to disperse them. In view of the situation, Section 144 has been imposed till 15th June around National Highways and Railway Stations under Uluberia Sub Division, Howrah.

2. Uttar Pradesh: Police preparations failing
Just 7 days after the violence in Kanpur on June 3, there was a ruckus in 8 districts of UP. After Friday prayers, the crowd took to the road. Namazi was angry with BJP leader Nupur Sharma’s remarks on Prophet Mohammad. In Prayagraj, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Hathras, Aligarh, Jalaun, the worshipers came out on the road. The police-administration was alert for two days, but at the last moment the preparations for all the security arrangements failed.

In Prayagraj, miscreants set many vehicles on fire, while also pelting stones at many places.

Most of the ruckus happened in Prayagraj. Many soldiers of paramilitary forces were injured here. Similarly, slogans of Allah-hu-Akbar were raised in Deoband. However, everything remained under control due to heavy police force being deployed in Kanpur. Till Saturday afternoon 48 arrests were made in Saharanpur, 68 in Prayagraj, 50 in Hathras, 25 in Moradabad, 8 in Firozabad, 28 in Ambedkarnagar. A total of 227 were caught.

Blue cap connection to violence in Saharanpur
Some outsiders may be behind the violence after Friday prayers in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Local people say that on Friday, some such people were seen outside Jama Masjid, who had never been seen here before. These people were wearing black kurta-pajamas and blue caps. 2. Jharkhand: 2 killed, 13 injured in violence
Violence broke out after Friday prayers in Ranchi’s Main Road. The police had to open fire to handle the situation. Stones were thrown from the side of the chaotic elements. Was ransacked. There was arson. In this 2 people died. 13 people are injured.
