Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani fired sharp words at Congress and Rahul Gandhi in Basal of Kutlahar assembly constituency in Una, Himachal. He indirectly said that those who have gone on a journey have come out to save their politics. He is also fighting for the chair with his sister. Addressing the Mahila Sangam Sammelan, Union Minister Smriti Irani said that the BJP has set out on a development journey for the sake of service. While Congress is traveling for power. In Himachal, better results are being seen of the Center’s Matru Vandana Yojana.

Due to which 2 lakh women have benefited, in whose bank accounts 6 thousand rupees have been directly transferred. Smriti Irani said that during the Kovid period, PM Narendra Modi gave 5 kg ration free of cost to 30 lakh people of Himachal for 28 months, so that no one would go hungry in the calamity. Appreciated the contribution of Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and women doctors during Kovid.

Congress was in power for a long time

He said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the central government and under the leadership of Jai Ram Thakur, many efforts have been made for women empowerment. The age limit of old age pension has been reduced from 80 years to 60 years. Smriti Irani said that Congress remained in power in the country for a long time. The Congress coalition government was at the center from 2004 to 2014.

Despite being a woman president of the party, the Congress never made toilets for poor women. But after becoming PM, Narendra Modi understood this pain of women and daughters. Only after this, separate toilets were built for girls in government schools. The Union Minister said that mother power is the power of the nation. Said that the workers of Mahila Morcha should stick to the field.

Make them aware of the achievements of the government by going from house to house and then feed lotus in the elections. Smriti Irani praised Rural Development Minister Virendra Kanwar fiercely. He said that he has made unprecedented development in Kutlahar. He has also served the public in Himachal through his departments. Due to which his methodology has got a new identity in the state.

Bulk drug park will provide employment: Anurag Thakur

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that development of society and country is impossible without the development of women. Therefore, the state and central government have implemented many schemes for women empowerment. Said that the way the central leadership under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was successful in protecting the people of the country during Kovid-19, the world has recognized India as iron.

He said that the Bulk Drug Park and Medical Device Park would provide employment to thousands of people in Himachal in the near future. He credited Smriti Irani for the opening of Kendriya Vidyalayas at Saloh in Una and Bangana.

Support given to 22 thousand cows: Virendra Kanwar

Rural Development Minister Virendra Kanwar said that the government has taken the initiative to serve the cow and the poor. 22 thousand cows have been supported and by the end of the year 80 percent of the cows will be removed from the roads and taken to the cowsheds. The government has given a new dimension to women empowerment by waiving half the rent of women, said that Grihini Suvidha Yojana.

Apart from this, 125 units of free electricity and water bills in villages have been completely waived.
