Drone came again from Pakistan in Gurdaspur: BSF jawans repelled 40 rounds of firing and 6 light bombs; search operation carried out

Taking advantage of the fog on the Punjab border, Pakistani smugglers are continuously trying to execute their nefarious efforts. Drone movement took place in Gurdaspur sector on last Saturday also. Border Security Force (BSF) jawans fired and chased away the drone. After which a search operation was also conducted in the area.

According to the information, drone movement was seen at BOP Chanduwadala under Gurdaspur sector at around 11.30 pm on Saturday night. The soldiers of Battalion 89 were on patrol. As soon as the sound of the drone was heard, the jawans started firing. The jawans fired around 40 rounds. Not only this, 6 light bombs were also fired to know the movement of the drone. After which senior officers were informed about this.

Search operation carried out in the area
A search operation has been launched in the area with the help of BSF and local police. DIG Prabhakar Joshi says that the jawans forced the drone to return by firing. A search operation is being conducted for vigilance, but nothing suspicious has been found so far.
