According to police sources, Liton Das was renting a room with the young woman in a house in Vikramgarh. He is an app cab driver by profession. Liton is a resident of Champahati area of South 24 Parganas. He was living in a live-in with that young woman for the past four years. It is known that the young woman was married before. He got divorced 11 years ago. After that, the young woman got into a relationship with Liton. Then they decided to live in. Locals saw the young woman lying in front of the door of the house in a bloody state yesterday morning. They informed the police. Later the police came and rescued the young woman. On the other hand, seeing the door of the house closed from inside, the police broke it and entered. Police found Liton hanging and took him to the hospital. Doctors declared Liton dead there.
The young woman told the police that there was trouble between them before this incident. Lytton then began beating him with a sharp weapon. Later he was thrown out of the house.
