Yashasvi Jaiswal Wins ICC Men’s Player Of The Month Title For February

Yashasvi Jaiswal, India’s star opener, has been awarded the prestigious title of ICC Player of the Month for February. The 22-year-old outshone esteemed players like Kane Williamson of New Zealand and Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka.

Jaiswal’s exceptional performance included scoring two consecutive double centuries in the Test series against England, making him the highest run-scorer in IND vs ENG Test series. He becomes the seventh Indian men’s cricketer to clinch the ICC Player of the Month title.

Jaiswal scored 209 runs in the first innings of the Visakhapatnam Test, followed by 214 runs in the second innings of the Rajkot Test. Additionally, he contributed a half-century in the first innings of the Ranchi Test.

Emerging as the highest run-scorer in IND vs ENG Test series, Jaiswal amassed a total of 712 runs across nine innings.
