Michael Bevan wrote on Instagram, “1. Preparation; India lacked match practice in English conditions, 2. Conditions; New Zealand’s swing bowlers more favorable than India’s bowlers, 3. Conditions; heading into the final day Had India only drawn or lost, putting extra pressure on its batsmen…what do you think?”

Captain Virat Kohli is known for his aggression. He also tried to put pressure on the Kiwi bowlers by scoring quick runs on the reserve day of the WTC final match of the World Test Championship, but his move backfired and Team India was reduced to just 170 runs.

In this way New Zealand got a target of just 139 runs to win. The Kiwis lost two wickets early on, but then captain Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor put together a solid partnership to chase down the target and make New Zealand the first World Test champions.

“You need a fast bowling all-rounder for that. We’ve been successful with this combination in different conditions. We thought it was our best combination, and we had batting depth too, and if there’s more of the game There was time, spinners would also come into the game more,” said Virat Kohli in his post-match presentation.
