6 properties of Parth-Arpita were raided on Tuesday

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), probing money laundering in the West Bengal teacher recruitment scam, raided Arpita Mukherjee’s flat in Belgharia on Monday night. According to sources, the ED scanned the CCTV footage of the apartment here and also checked the entry diary. After investigation, the officials confiscated the entry diary and the data of the My Gate app.

Apartment secretary Amit Chaurasia told the media that the CCTV footage could not be retrieved due to technical reasons. He has been instructed to keep it safe.

28 crore cash was received from this flat
On July 27, the ED had raided Arpita’s flat in Belgharia. In this, about 28 crore rupees were found in cash. In this raid that lasted for 18 hours, the ED team also recovered 5 kg of gold. After getting so much money from the flat, Arpita had confessed for the first time that all the money belonged to Partha Chatterjee.

Arpita’s house was raided by the ED on July 23 and July 27. The ED action lasted for 26 hours on the first day and 18 hours on the second day.

1. Partha Chatterjee: I don’t know whose money is from Arpita’s flat. Jobs were given on the recommendation of leaders in the education department.

2. Arpita Mukherjee: The money I got belongs to Parth. I was not allowed to go to the flat. Parth’s people used to come to the flat to keep cash.

Joint account of both in 11 banks, keep 8 crore rupees
According to ED sources, information has been received about Parth-Arpita having joint accounts in 11 banks. Evidence of 8 crores has been found in these. The agency is preparing to seize these accounts soon. At the same time, ED is preparing to raid about 15 more places of Parth.

Received information about penthouse, also 2 flats
Parth has bought a penthouse and two flats under different names in the society from where ED sources got Rs 22 crore cash from Arpita’s flat. After the raid, the information about these flats has been removed from the society’s app.
