Vijay Deverakonda Pens Touching Note for His Fans As Kushi Hits the Theatres

New Delhi: The romance drama Kushi, starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda, has hit the theatres.  The movie, which is directed by Shiva Nirvana, released on September 1 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. After making his Bollywood debut in 2022 with ‘Liger’, Vijay Deverakonda made a comeback to the big screen.

The audience has reportedly responded favourably to ‘Kushi’ so far, and the actor took the moment to express gratitude to his loyal fanbase.

Vijay took to Twitter and wrote, “You all waited for 5 years, with me. Patiently waiting for me to do my thing! We did it. Today!! 🙂 Waking up to this happiness from all around and my phone to hundreds of messages. I cannot help but tear up with emotions. I love you all. Go and enjoyyyyy this one with your friends and familes. Because I know you will. Emotional & #Kushi Your man, Vijay Deverakonda.”

On Friday, film trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted that the US audience responded to ‘Kushi’ with a spectacular reaction.

“Blockbuster Response from the US audience. It’s #KushiDay. Experience love, emotions and a lot of Kushi on the big screens. #Kushi IN CINEMAS NOW. Book your tickets now,” he wrote on X (previously known as Twitter).

Vijay Deverakonda’s character Viplav’s love story is the focus of ‘Kushi’. He falls in love with Aradhya, a worker at the iLabs Centre, while he is employed by the government-run telecom company BSNL. The romace flick, which is backed by Mythri Movie Makers, also prominently features Rahul Ramakrishna, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, and Vennela Kishore.
