The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has declared the physical test or PET results of the Forest Guard recruitment examination on March 2. Candidates who appeared for the PET examination, conducted between February 12 and 17, can go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission at upsssc.gov.in and check it.

According to the official notification by the commission out of the 1,697 candidates who appeared for the physical standard test for the offered post, a total of 1,402 candidates have qualified, while 101 were declared unsuccessful. It is worth noting that 194 candidates did not appear for the physical standard test.

The commission further added that they have decided to call the 1,402 qualified candidates for the qualification/record (document verification) tests. The commission also stated that the final results of the recruitment drive will be published after the verification of qualification/records is completed.

UPSSSC Forest Guard PET Result: How To Check?

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission at upsssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Scroll towards the bottom of the screen and search for the ‘Notice board’ on the homepage.

Step 3: Look for and click on the Forest Guard PET result link.

Step 4: Upon clicking, the Forest Guard PET Result PDF will be displayed on the screen, containing the result notice and roll numbers.

Step 5: Scroll down to check if you have been selected for the document verification round.

Step 6: Save a copy of the PDF on your device for future use.

The commission is conducting this recruitment drive to fill a total of 701 vacancies of Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard in the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department. Out of the aforementioned vacancies, there are 341 posts for the unreserved category, 192 posts are for Scheduled Caste (SC), 101 posts are for Other Backward Class (OBC), 5 posts are for Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 70 posts are for economically weaker section candidates.

Informing further, the UPSSSC stated, “The information for the candidates’ qualification /record verification will be published separately. In continuation of the foregoing, aspirants related to the aforementioned advertisement are hereby notified that, with the Honourable Commission’s approval, the list of roll numbers of a total of 1,402 candidates who were successful in the physical standard test (PST) for the post of Forest Inspector and identified for qualification/record test (total 05 pages) has been uploaded to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission’s website.”
