Just before the UP results, videos of EVM manipulation went viral at 13 places including Aligarh, Saharanpur, Kaushambi, Varanasi, Shamli. The matter escalated so much that Akhilesh Yadav even held a press conference in anger. However, after the results, the debate about EVM malfunction has stopped. Here, we only looked at the results of those seats where questions were raised regarding EVMs. Tell them one by one. 3 seats in Shamli, SP complains of EVM malfunction
Voting was on February 10 in Shamli. The Samajwadi Party had accused many booths of the district of sending poor voters back by intimidation. Action was also demanded from the Election Commission. There are total 3 Vidhan Sabhas in the district.

SP leaders along with their supporters reached the place of counting of votes. Said, first the former BJP MLAs went to the strong room and inspected it. But the SP candidate was stopped by the security personnel from entering. The SP alleged that BJP leaders were trying to tamper with the EVMs. There are total 7 assembly seats in Aligarh.

In Lucknow, SP workers created a ruckus over the fraud in EVMs. At the Ramabai rally site, the SP workers placed a chair outside the strong room and monitored in the presence of the leaders. There are total 9 Vidhan Sabha seats in the district.

SP workers created ruckus over getting ballot paper in Sonbhadra’s SDM Ghoraval Ramesh Kumar’s car. After this, Shyam Pratap Singh was given election related responsibilities by removing the SDM. There are 4 Vidhan Sabha seats in the district.

The MLA had apologized to the public for the mistakes committed in five years. In the election results Bhupesh won by 40.29% votes.
- Neelkanth Tiwari apologizing by coming live on FB came in handy in the election BJP MLA Neelkanth Tiwari apologized by coming live on his FB page on March 2. In the video, he is saying with folded hands that, because of being a minister for 5 years, I have not been able to give time to the public. MLA from Varanasi South seat Neelkanth Tiwari won by 50.88% votes.
- By releasing the video of Devendra Singh Lodhi, it worked to persuade the angry people of the area. On 23 January, BJP MLA Devendra Lodhi reached Sayana assembly constituency for election campaign. But as soon as they reached Makdi village, the villagers started protesting. People scolded a lot for not doing development in five years. However, MLA Devendra Lodhi realized his mistake. He apologized to the people of the area by releasing the video. In the election results the MLAs won by 58.9% votes.
