Unique FIR for lapse in Modi’s security: PM is not mentioned, the section is such that only Rs 200 fine on those who stop the convoy

Chandigarh2 hours ago

The punishment for blocking the path of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy in Ferozepur is only 200 rupees. This is because, in the case registered by the Punjab Police at Kulgarhi police station, section 283 of IPC has been imposed. The punishment under this section is a fine of Rs 200. Its bail is also made in the police station itself. The accused need not go to court. Punjab Police has not written anyone’s name in the FIR. Surprisingly, there is no mention of stopping Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy anywhere in this. At the same time, the SPG Act made for the protection of the PM has also not been imposed.

Police is admitting mistake in the case registered after 18 hours
As soon as the petition was filed in the Supreme Court, the Punjab Police registered the case, but proved its mistake in it. At first it took 18 hours. At the same time, BJP leaders claim that PM Narendra Modi reached the flyover at 1.05 pm. Despite this, the police personnel reached there between two and a half to three o’clock. Apart from this, the case has also been registered on the next day i.e. on January 6 at 7.40 pm.
