Big changes happening in Twitter
The company is undergoing major changes after Elon Musk acquired Twitter in a $44 billion deal on October 27. The company is changing its policy and business model. Employees are also being laid off. As soon as Musk took over the reins of Twitter, four top officials were fired from CEO Parag Agarwal, finance chief Ned Segal and legal executives Vijaya Gadde and Sean Edgett.

This was followed by the exit of Chief Marketing Officer Leslie Berland, Chief Customer Officer Sarah Persnet and Jean-Philippe Mhow, Vice President of Global Client Solutions. Now some reports have also claimed that Elon Musk can remove half of Twitter’s employees. Twitter currently has about 7,500 employees. Of these, about 3,700 may lose their jobs. Musk will inform employees of his decision today.
