Kharagpur, TTE Pintu Das of Santragachi under Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway has also joined one crore club of Railways. Pintu Das has made a personal record of revenue collection of more than Rs 1 crore from ticket checking during the current financial year on 26 March 2023. Till March 26, 2023, Pintu Das has recovered fine of Rs.1,00,22,270/- from 11861 irregular and ticketless cases in 304 working days.
For the first time in Kharagpur division, a ticket checking staff has personally achieved the achievement of collecting a fine of more than one crore rupees. Pintu Das collected a fine of 9,486,905 from a total of 10711 cases without ticket. 5,25,485 from irregular passengers while a fine of 9880 has been collected for unbooked luggage.

The division has outperformed the ticket checking segment by registering a growth of around 421% during this financial year as compared to the figures for the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Senior DCM Kharagpur Rajesh Kumar attributed the achievement to the hard work and dedication of the employees. He said that due to the intensive and well-planned ticket checking activities throughout the year, the efforts of the ticket checking staff and all concerned officials, the performance of the Division has increased manifold. He added that in the coming financial year, the division would focus on setting new benchmarks in the ticket checking segment.
