The little girl will stay at home, the teacher from Madhyamgram will walk 3,500 km with Rahul

He has gone from Kolkata to Ladakh by bike twice before. And now go to Kashmir from Kanyakumari. But this journey is completely different from other times. Because this time from Kanyakumari to Kashmir we have to cross three and a half thousand roads on foot. Pooja Pradasha Roy Chowdhury of Salt Lake is fully prepared for it. And also this journey is completely political.

‘Bharat Joro’ journey will start from Kanyakumari to Kashmir under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from September 7. Pooja, a resident of Salt Lake and a teacher of an engineering college, has been selected for the march. A total of 117 people participated in this journey of Congress from all over India. Out of which two are from West Bengal. Apart from Pooja, another person is Kiran Chhetri, a Seva Dal activist from North Bengal. This journey will last for five months. 22-25 km will be walked every day. And overnight accommodation will be provided in the shipping container.

Pooja is now in the limelight for leaving her little girl at home and spending five months away from home. She is a molecular biology teacher at the Institute of Genetic Engineering College, Madhyamgram. He has been doing Congress since his college days. He became a candidate in the Salt Lake by-election and campaigned himself. But how can you stay out for so long leaving the little girl? Many people want to know that now. However, Pooja is clear that she has the support of her family. Family members will take care of the girl. As a result, there will be no problem. “I don’t see them as weaknesses,” he said.

According to Pooja, who is used to jogging every day, she will have no problem walking 25 km every day. Rahul Gandhi will also walk most of the way. Then stay in the truck container with the pedestrians. On the other hand, 46-year-old Chhetri believes that everything is possible only with the strength of the mind. He believes that this ideology can defeat the BJP.
