New Delhi: The former model and actor Namrata Shirodkar celebrated her 50th birthday on Sunday, and her husband and actor Mahesh Babu sent her birthday wishes. The actor posted a photo of his wife on Instagram on this special day.
Namrata is seen posing in front of a river and mountains in the picture, which appears to be from one of her holidays. She wore brown trousers with a red high-neck and layered it with a blue short coat.
The actor also penned down a heartwarming note along with the post. “Happy birthday NSG! Thank you for putting things in perspective… for lifting me up and for being you always! @namratashirodkar,” Mahesh captioned the post.
Her children, daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni and son Gautam Ghattamaneni, also sent birthday greetings to Namrata.
To wish his mother, Gautam also shared a throwback photo of the two of them. The duo was seated on a bench when they smiled and posed for photos. Gautam wrote, “Happy birthday Amma!! Missing you already. @namratashirodkar.”
Sitara posted a video in which Gautam, Namrata, and she can be seen enjoying their trip, featuring shots of them eating ice cream, flying, and exploring the city.
“Happy birthday Amma. You’re my northern star, my rock & my best friend. I hope this birthday is just as incredible as you are. Love you, always and forever!” she wrote.
On the sets of the Telugu film ‘Vamsi’, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar first met, and they fell in love with one another right away. Before getting married in February 2005, the two had a five-year relationship.
