The Communist Party of India (CPM) on Monday took a jibe at the Congress’s India Jodo Yatra. CPI-M posted a cartoon of Rahul Gandhi on social media and wrote – Was it India Jodo Abhiyan or Seat Jodi? 18 days in Kerala, 2 days in Uttar Pradesh. This is a unique way to fight RSS and BJP. Congress’s Jairam Ramesh retorted and said- Do your homework better on how and why the journey was planned.
Journey started from 7th September
The ‘Bharat Jodo’ journey of the Congress started from Kanyakumari on 7 September. It will pass through 12 states and 2 union territories. During this, Rahul Gandhi will cover a distance of about 3,500 km. After 18 days of travel in Kerala, the next stop would be Karnataka.
India Couple Travel Schedule in Kerala
During his 18-day journey in Kerala, Rahul will cover a distance of 450 km from Parasala to Nilambar in Malappuram. The Yatra will enter Kollam district on September 14 and reach Alappuzha on September 17. Thereafter, the Yatra will pass through Ernakulam district on September 21 and 22 and will reach Thrissur on September 23. The Yatra will pass through Palakkad on September 26 and 27 and will reach Malappuram on September 28.
Focus on 372 Lok Sabha seats
India Jodo Yatra will travel from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu to the Union Territory of Kashmir via Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, UP, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. Through this yatra, Congress is focusing on 372 Lok Sabha seats.
Journey out to appear on the channel
On the first day of the visit, Rahul Gandhi had said that Prime Minister Modi is shown on news channels throughout the day. Nobody shows us people, so we are taking the tour. Apart from Rahul, Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal, Digvijay Singh, Ashok Gehlot, Bhupesh Baghel and Yogendra Yadav also addressed the gathering.
Rahul said that the future of crores of people is in the hands of one person and instead of grooming it, they are showing the fear of ED and CBI to the opposition. We are going back to the era of slavery. Earlier one East India Company used to rule the country, now 3-4 companies are doing this work.
