New Delhi: Actor Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul’s wedding preparations are in full swing. Ahead of his daughter’s wedding, Suniel Shetty was seen outside the Khandala home overseeing final details. The actor promised the gathered paparazzi outside his residence that the couple will later pose for the photographers.
The actor is seen stepping out of his car and approaching the paparazzi in a video posted on social media. “Aa rahe hain hum log. Kal unko leke aata hoon, bachchon ko (We are coming tomorrow. I’ll bring the kids tomorrow),’ he says in the video.
“Apne jis tareke se pyaar dikhya uske liye bohut bohut (The way you have all shown love towards them, thank you a lot),” the actor added.
Additionally, the actor gives instructions to one of his team members to see to the needs pf the paps. Later on in the video, while speaking in Marathi to the paparazzi who were waiting, he promises them that while no one would come for pictures today, they would come after the wedding. He assures them that he, his wife Mana Shetty, their daughter Athiya Shetty, and Rahul will make an appearance.

Athiya and KL Rahul will reportedly tie the knot on January 23. A ladies’ night on January 21 and a sangeet event on January 23 were scheduled to start the wedding celebrations this coming weekend.
According to reports, the wedding ceremony, which is taking place on Monday, is ‘an exceptionally close-knit family affair’. Many people from the industry won’t attend, only close friends and family.
KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have been dating for a while. The actor has also accompanied Team India on trips to tournaments. Despite the fact that they have never formally acknowledged their relationship, they have been seen together at public events and on family outings. Recently, the pair rang in the new year in Dubai together.
