Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has announced that emergency will be lifted from the country. The decision will be implemented from midnight today.
On the other hand, locals have been suffering due to severe spike in prices of fuel and other necessities. Long queues of people can be seen in front of fuel pumps.
