A heart-wrenching case like Shraddha murder case of Delhi has come to the fore in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district. Here a young man was beaten to death by some people. After this, the dead body was cut into seven pieces and then put them in a sack and buried them between big stones in the drain. The deceased youth has been identified as Manohar Lal (21), a resident of Badal village in Saluni.
The police got the post-mortem done and handed over the dead body to the relatives. In this case, 5 accused from the minority community were arrested. This matter is said to be related to love affair. Some videos and photos in the case have gone viral on social media.
Love contextual issue
According to the police, Manohar Lal was having a love affair with a girl from a minority community. On June 6, he reached the girl’s house to meet her. Here the relatives of the girl saw him. The family members caught him and beat him to death with a stick. After this, the accused cut the dead body into pieces.

The matter came to light on 9 June. When some people were passing through the drain. People smelled strange and informed the police. After this the police reached the spot. When the police investigated, they found Manohar’s body parts from a gunny bag.

This murder case is as dangerous as the Shraddha murder case in Delhi. In this both the arms, legs and head of the young man were separated from the torso. After this incident of murder, there is an atmosphere of panic in the area. The police is not looking into the matter from a communal angle and is appealing to the local people to maintain peace.
5 accused arrested
Northern Zone DIG Abhishek Dullar said that the accused girl and her brother-in-law were first arrested. The girl’s uncle and aunt have also been arrested on Tuesday. A total of five arrests have been made in this case.
