New Delhi15 hours ago

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sar-karyawah Dattatreya Hosabale, at an event on Sunday, expressed concern over rising unemployment, poverty and rising inequality in income in the country. He said that the government should make efforts at the earliest to end unemployment. Hosabale, however, said that several steps have been taken in the last few years to tackle this challenge.

Hosbale said that the top one percent of India’s population accounts for one-fifth (20%) of the country’s income. Also 50% of the country’s population has only 13 percent of the country’s income. At the same time, the remaining 50% people have 87% income, which is not correct.

200 million people below the poverty line
Hosbale said in a webinar organized by the Sangh-affiliated Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SGM) – We should be sad that 200 million people are below the poverty line and 23 crore people are earning less than Rs 375 per day. Poverty is a monster-like challenge before us. It is important that this demon be eradicated.

work to reduce unemployment rate
The RSS leader said that apart from poverty, inequality and unemployment are two challenges that need to be tackled. There are 4 crore unemployed in the country, of which 2.2 crore are unemployed in rural areas and 1.8 crore in urban areas. The labor force survey put the unemployment rate at 7.6 percent. We need to formulate schemes not only at the central level but also at the local level to generate employment.

The executive head is the sar-karyavah
Dattatreya Hosabale was elected as the Sar-karyavah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in the meeting of the All India Pratinidhi Sabha in 2020. The post of Sir-Karyavah is the number two in the organization after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. The role of the RSS chief is mainly that of a guide. The whole work of the organization is looked after by the Sarkar-Karyavah.
