Orange alert in Bhopal today; 50 dams in Gujarat were put on high alert.

Rain is raining as a disaster in many states of the country. After the rains in Guwahati on Saturday, flood situation once again became in many areas. In Jorabat, the roads were flooded in which a car got stuck.

Here, on Saturday, there was heavy rain in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. Two gates of Bhadbhada Dam were opened in the event of the big pond overflowing in Bhopal. The city received more than 3 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. Bhopal has received 32.20 inches of rain till Saturday, which is the highest in 17 years. The Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert for rain in Bhopal on Sunday.

Here, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert in Rajasthan, Central Gujarat, Bihar, UP for the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Central Gujarat on Sunday. Heavy rain warning was issued in many districts of UP.

Madhya Pradesh: Driver drops school bus into drain in Shajapur, 25 children stranded
At Bikalakhedi in Shajapur district, the driver dropped the school bus into a flowing drain. More than 25 children were sitting in the bus. Seeing the water filling the bus, the children started screaming. The children were trapped in about four feet of water for an hour. The villagers pulled the bus out with the help of a tractor.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Gwalior-Chambal, Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand on Sunday as well. It will also rain in Narmadapuram, Harda, Betul, Niwari, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Dindori, Shahdol, Anuppur, Guna, Ujjain, Shajapur, Agar Malwa, Dewas, Khandwa, Sehore.

Rajasthan: 4.7 inches of rain for the first time in Jaipur
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum rainfall during the last 24 hours was 130 mm in Ladpura of Kota. At the same time, Kota city also received 109 mm of rain. For the first time in Jaipur 120 mm i.e. 4.7 inches of rain. Cars started floating on the roads after the rain. And there were traffic jams everywhere. So far 5 inches of rain has fallen in Kota, Tonk, Bundi.

During the next 24 to 48 hours, moderate to heavy rains are possible at isolated places over Dausa, Alwar, Sawai Madhopur, Bundi, Kota, Baran, Jhalawar and Ajmer. Apart from this, there is a possibility of good rain at isolated places in western Rajasthan Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Jaisalmer, Pali, Bhilwara.

Chhattisgarh: More than 170 mm of rain in 24 hours in Bastar
Many areas of the state including the capital received heavy rains on Saturday. The capital has received more than 93 mm of rain in 24 hours. Due to heavy rains in Bastar, Bijapur also, the rivers and streams have come to the fore again. The effect of heavy rains is that the state has received 46 percent of the season’s rain.

The biggest effect of the first rain of Sawan has once again been more on Bastar itself. Heavy rains are occurring in most areas of Bijapur, Sukma and Dantewada. In the last 24 hours, 17 cm rain has been recorded in Bastar district, Bijapur 14, Dantewada 12, Bhairamgarh 10, Raipur 9, Kartala, Nagri, Lohandiguda, Tokapal 8 cm. Due to heavy rains, rivers and streams in Bastar have once again come in spate.

According to the Meteorological Department, an upper air cyclone has formed over Odisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh. A monsoon trough is formed over the east-central Bay of Bengal. Heavy to very heavy rains are occurring in the state due to the effect of upper air cyclone. Light to moderate rain is expected at most places and heavy at one or two places on July 24. Rains in the rest of July and August, September are expected to meet the quota for the monsoon season.

Bihar: Less rain in July this year than last year
Monsoon is seen deserted in Bihar this time. This year only 232.6 mm of rain was received as compared to last year. Whereas in 2021 there was 560 mm of rain. In July this year, only 60 mm of rain was recorded in 23 days. Below normal rainfall has been recorded in 36 districts of Bihar. Kishanganj and Araria have received above normal rainfall. The capital Patna has received more than 19 mm of rain during the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of good rains in August.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in all parts of Bihar during the next 24 hours. After that, on July 25 and 26, the weather has been predicted to be normal. Moderate in 19 districts including East-West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur, while light rain will occur in the southern part including Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia.

Gujarat: 50 dams of the state put on high alert
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain across the state after the rain system is once again active in the sea. In which there may be heavy rain in Ahmedabad as well. There was heavy rain in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar on Saturday. Therefore, the Meteorological Department has also declared an Orange Alert in North Gujarat. 50 reservoirs have been put on high alert. So far, the state has recorded an average of 60 per cent rainfall. A red alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rains in Patan, Mahesana and Banaskantha districts.
