Rapid rise of COVID-19 in England; BCCI may cancel planned holidays for players

There could be some bad news for the players of the Indian cricket team, which recently lost the WTC final in Southampton. As per the original schedule, the BCCI had allowed cricketers to travel and travel to England with their spouses or families, but with the rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country, this is likely to be cancelled. The first of the five-match Test series against England has a 20-day gap before India.
