BIKANER: A differently-abled girl was allegedly raped and impregnated by a 50-year-old neighbour who is out on bail in a 2018 case of rape of a Dalit woman in Bikaner district.
Superintendent of police Yogesh Yadav said that accused identified as Yakar Khan is on run after a case has been registered on a complaint filed by survivor’s mother.
The accused allegedly raped the girl over a period of several months and the incident came to light when the girl complained of stomachache and the doctors found out about her pregnancy during the check-up, he said.
Khan was arrested on charges of raping a Dalit woman in 2018 and was out on bail but fled when he learnt about the case.
