Government bungalow was given in 2005 after becoming MP from Amethi
On March 27, Rahul had received a notice to vacate the bungalow from the Lok Sabha Secretariat. The Lok Sabha Housing Committee had issued him a notice to vacate his official residence at 12 Tughlaq Road. He was given time till April 24 to vacate the bungalow. The next day after receiving the notice, Rahul sent a written reply to Dr. Mohit Ranjan, deputy secretary of the Lok Sabha Secretariat. He wrote- I was elected Lok Sabha MP 4 times. This is the mandate of the people. I am thankful to those people. I have many good memories attached to this house. I will follow the orders given in the notice.
Rahul lived in a government bungalow at 12, Tughlaq Lane in Lutyens’ Delhi. This bungalow was allotted to him in 2004 when he became MP for the first time from Amethi. He got this bungalow in 2005.
Will vacate bungalow for Rahul: Kharge
On the notice to vacate the bungalow, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “If Rahul vacates the bungalow, he can go live with his mother or come to me.” I will vacate a bungalow.
Rahul Gandhi also thanked in the letter for giving notice to vacate the bungalow.

March 23: Rahul gets punishment in defamation case

Surat court sentenced Rahul to 2 years imprisonment on 23rd March. However, he got bail after 27 minutes. In 2019, he had given a statement regarding the Modi surname in the assembly of Karnataka. March 24: Rahul’s membership of Parliament canceled
Rahul reached the Lok Sabha on the morning of March 24, where he spoke on the Adani issue.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Parliament membership was canceled on March 24 at around 2.30 pm. He was a member of the Lok Sabha from Wayanad, Kerala. The Lok Sabha Secretariat issued a letter giving information about this. Rahul’s name has also been removed from the website of the Lok Sabha.
In fact, the Supreme Court had said in a 2013 judgment that if any MP or MLA is found guilty in a lower court, he would be disqualified for membership of Parliament or Legislative Assembly. Under this rule, Rahul’s parliament membership has been cancelled.
March 25: Rahul held a 28-minute press conference

March 26: Congress did Sankalp Satyagraha across the country

March 27: Rahul receives notice to vacate the bungalow.
