Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha-Starrer Fukrey 3 Poster Out, Release Date Announced

New Delhi: The third installment of the comedy flick ‘Fukrey’ will premiere on movie screens on September 7. The previous movies featured Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Richa Chadha. But according to what the poster suggests, Ali Fazal won’t be joining the cast this time.

Sharing two new posters of the film on Tuesday, Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter to express his excitement. “Iss baar hoga chamatkaar, straight from Jamnapaar! #Fukrey3 arriving in cinemas on 7th September, 2023 (This time the magic will have from across the banks of river Jamuna),” he wrote.

Richa is shown in the first poster lounging on a sugarcane-made throne as the former gangster Bholi Punjaban. Varun Sharma may be seen snoozing at her feet. Manjot Singh, who plays Lali, is straining behind the throne as Pankaj Tripathi and Pulkit Samrat are seated on either side of Richa. The second poster shows the entire male ensemble forming a human pyramid to climb a brick wall that is sloped.

Fukrey has consistently received a tonne of appreciation from fans ever since the release of its first chapter in 2013. In June of last year, the shoot for the upcoming installment was officially over.

In 2022, Varun Sharma spoke to India Today about ‘Fukrey 3’ and said,“I think the film will be very amusing. This is one particular film that is very special for all of us. It was a start for all of us. Now to revisit the same character after so many years again and start off from where we left, has been remarkable. The film is going to be phenomenal and we are very excited about it.”

‘Fukrey 3’ is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced under Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
