Gavit told that the ministers invited him to hold talks with the CM and Deputy CM, so we will attend the meeting. But if we are not satisfied with the answers of the government, then our foot march will continue. We want the state government to take immediate steps to solve the problems of farmers and tribals.

Earlier the demand for meeting was turned down

Even on Wednesday, the CM had invited the farmers to come to Mumbai for talks, but then the farmers rejected their demand. According to media reports, the farmers were to have a meeting with the CM and Deputy CM on Tuesday, which was postponed by the government. The farmers were not happy with this and decided that they would not go to Mumbai to negotiate with the government.

After this, two ministers of the Maharashtra government came to Shahapur in Thane to talk to the farmers and invited the farmers to come to Mumbai and talk to the CM-Deputy CM, which the farmers accepted.
