BJP can misuse CD and CBI: Lamba

All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesperson Alka Lamba said that the Congress suspects that the Modi government may misuse the government machinery to influence the elections. He said that the ruling BJP can misuse the ED and CBI to disrupt the election process.

Appeal to Election Commission to stop misuse of ED and CBI

Alka Lamba said that the BJP government in many states has misused the government machinery in the past. In view of this, he has urged the Election Commission to stop the misuse of ED and CBI in Himachal for conducting fair elections.

Alka Lamba said that the Congress party will fully follow the model code of conduct issued by the Election Commission. He expressed hope that the Election Commission would also conduct the fair elections without any pressure. Will take strict measures to prevent misuse of government machinery during these elections.

Congress party fully prepared: Lamba

Alka Lamba said that the Congress party is fully prepared for the elections in Himachal. He said that Jai Ram Sarkar is now a guest for a few days. Even in the last cabinet, the Jai Ram government took such decisions which the state government could not do in the last five years.

Alka Lamba said that Home Minister Amit Shah has misled the Hati community. He said that if the intention of the central government was clear, then the announcement of giving tribal status to Hati would not have been limited to the cabinet meeting. He said that this decision of the Central Government is only an attempt to dissolve social poison between the two communities.

Concern expressed over waiting for 26 days for result

The Congress spokesperson said that on November 12, simultaneous elections will be held on all the seats and the result will have to wait for December 8. This is unfortunate. The gap of so many days for the results is a matter of concern. This will affect the development work of the state.
