Himachal Congress Manifesto Committee President Col Dhaniram Shandil took a dig at BJP and said that the people of Himachal will change the government, not the customs. Appeal to Election Commission to stop misuse of ED and CBI

Alka Lamba said that the BJP government in many states has misused the government machinery in the past. In view of this, he has urged the Election Commission to stop the misuse of ED and CBI in Himachal for conducting fair elections.

Alka Lamba said that the Congress party will fully follow the model code of conduct issued by the Election Commission. He expressed hope that the Election Commission would also conduct the fair elections without any pressure. Will take strict measures to prevent misuse of government machinery during these elections.

Alka Lamba said that the Congress party is fully prepared for the elections in Himachal. He said that Jai Ram Sarkar is now a guest for a few days. Even in the last cabinet, the Jai Ram government took such decisions which the state government could not do in the last five years.

Alka Lamba said that Home Minister Amit Shah has misled the Hati community. He said that if the intention of the central government was clear, then the announcement of giving tribal status to Hati would not have been limited to the cabinet meeting.
