PM to inaugurate Centre-State Science Conclave today: Conclave, which will run for 2 days in Ahmedabad, aims to promote innovation and entrepreneurship

PM Modi will virtually inaugurate the Centre-State Science Conclave today i.e. on September 10 at 10:30 am through video conferencing. This program will run for 2 days in the Science City of Ahmedabad. Information about this has been shared by the PMO. It was told that this program is an important step in the direction of the Prime Minister’s efforts to facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.

CEOs of 100 startups from across the country will also come
The conclave will be attended by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Minister of Science and Technology, Secretaries of States/UTs, industry stalwarts, entrepreneurs, NGOs, scientists and students. Also, CEOs of more than 100 startups from across the country can participate in this conference.

The aim is to promote innovation
Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh says that the objective of this conference is to create coordination between the Center and the states, so that a strong eco-system of science, technology and innovation is created in the country. In this conference there will be sessions on many other topics including STI Vision 2047.

The conference aims to double private sector investment in research and development by 2030. As well as technological interventions to improve agriculture and farmers’ income, to innovate for drinking water. Due to which employment will be created and people will get basic facilities, which is necessary for the development and economy of the country.
