Petrol, and Diesel Prices on October 23: There is a slight decline in the prices of crude oil in the international market. Around 6 am on Monday, WTI crude was being sold at $ 87.53 per barrel. At the same time, Brent crude has increased to $ 91.59 per barrel. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am. Before June 2017, price revision was done every 15 days.

In Chhattisgarh, the price of petrol is increasing by 50 paise and diesel by 43 paise. In Himachal Pradesh, petrol has become costlier by 58 paise and diesel by 51 paise. Apart from this, there is a slight increase in the prices of petrol and diesel in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Kerala also. On the other hand, in Maharashtra petrol has become cheaper by 65 paise and diesel by 63 paise. In Bihar, petrol has become cheaper by 51 paise and diesel by 47 paise. Apart from this, the price of petrol and diesel is also falling in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

At present, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 96.72 a litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.62 a litre. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre. While petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. On the other hand, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per litre in Chennai.
