This Prasannakumar Roy is a hotel owner in Dubai. CBI alleges that he is also involved in SSC recruitment corruption.

What information did the CBI get? According to CBI sources, Prasanna Roy has multiple plots of land and garden houses in the Newtown-Rajarhat area. He owns them. He was a painter in his early life. From there, this immense glory has come under the hands of Partha Chatterjee. Within a few years, he became a hotel owner in Dubai. And he has at least five garden houses in Newtown.

And where is the hotel business? The documents obtained by the CBI include hotels in several places including Dubai, Darjeeling, Uttarakhand, Puri. There are even a few resorts. The detectives also got information about several bighas of land in his name in North Bengal. CBI detectives want to know how Prasanna became the owner of this huge property overnight It is also being investigated whether SSC recruitment corruption money is the reason behind his inflation.

What else is known? CBI arrested Pradeep Kumar Singh from Prasanna Roy’s car rental office in Salt Lake area on Friday. It is from this office that several information and documents have been recovered in the recruitment corruption case. CBI has learned that Prasanna Roy was in good touch with Partha Chatterjee. Prasanna Roy owns a three-storied garden house on 10 kathas of land in Mohammadpur, Dharsar, Rajarhat. CBI has learned that Partha Chatterjee visited that garden house many times.
