New Delhi: Nora Fatehi has been acing her professional life one project after another – from being a judge of reality shows to music videos to item songs – she is seen everywhere. She has also bagged Sajid Khan’s next directorial venture ‘100 Percent’ with John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh and Shehnaaz Gill.
Nora now joins the ranks of Jennifer Lopez & Shakira and will perform at the FIFA World Cup, making her the only actor to represent India and particularly South East Asia on the FIFA World Stage in December.
Nora Fatehi will also feature in the FIFA music video that will see her both singing and performing the FIFA anthem this year. The song has been produced by RedOne, one of the most influential record producers in history, who also worked on FIFA anthems like Shakira’s Waka Waka and La La La.
Nora took to Instagram to tease about the music video. She wrote, “This time for @fifaworldcup the official worldcup anthem with a touch of diversity “Light the Sky” save the date ⚽️ 🌎 ❤️ 07/10/22 ! @redone @balqeesfathi @manalbenchlikha @rahmariadh #girlpower #dancewithnora”
Nora will also perform at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup and interestingly, will also sing in Hindi!
What makes this achievement even more noteworthy is the fact that this is India’s first representation at the FIFA World Cup. While details are unknown at this juncture, it is said that Nora Fatehi is all set to put on a spectacular display that showcases her true prowess as a performing artist.
On the work front, Nora is currently a judge on the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’, alongside Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit. Apart from this, she recently featured in a song titled ‘Manike’ with Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Thank God’. The song has 69 million views till now on YouTube.
