The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 registration window has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who are interested may register for the NEET UG 2024 exam by visiting exams.nta.ac.in, the official website.
The NEET UG 2024 registration window was originally scheduled to end on March 9 at 9 pm. However, in response to candidate representations, the NTA extended the registration deadline. The deadline for candidates to submit their NEET UG application fees 2024 is now March 16 up until 10:50 pm.
A notification released by NTA read, “Registration for the online application forms of NEET UG 2024 has been ongoing since 9 February 2024. During this time we have received representations from stakeholders regarding the changes in NEET UG 2024 and the extension of the registration window.”
According to the timetable, the NEET UG 2024 exam will be held on May 5 for 3 hours 20 minutes. The examination will take place between 2 pm and 5:20 pm. Reports state that more than 21 lakh applicants have already enrolled for NEET UG 2024.
NEET UG 2024: HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Go to exams.nta.ac.in, the official NTA NEET registration website.
Step 2: Navigate to the homepage and select the NEET UG 2024 registration link.
Step 3: Complete the online form to sign up for yourself.
Step 4: After finishing, access your account by logging in.
Step 5: Complete the application and submit in the required fees .
Step 6: Once you’ve submitted the form, download the NEET UG 2024 application form for future reference.
Candidates from the General/NRI category must pay Rs 1700 as the application fee for NEET UG. For those who come under the General-EWS/OBC-NCL category, the application fee is Rs 1600. The application fee for candidates belonging to the third gender, PwBD, SC, or ST is Rs 1000.
The NTA states that the dates for the NEET UG 2024 application correction window, advance city intimation slip, hall tickets, and result declaration would be posted on the official NEET UG website sooner or later. In addition, the NTA notice stated that candidates should take note that this is a one-time chance and use it wisely since there will be no more opportunities to apply for NEET UG 2024.
