Congress has been protesting in Delhi for 3 consecutive days in protest against the ED’s questioning of Rahul Gandhi. Shashi Tharoor has shared a video after the performance on Wednesday. Which has been made by MP Jyotimani. In this, Jyoti has alleged that Delhi Police has treated her like a criminal. They tore their clothes, took off their shoes and put them in the bus like the rest of the protesters.

After the video of Jyotimani surfaced, many Congress leaders including Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury reached the Lok Sabha Speaker and demanded action.

Tharoor wrote – A humiliating moment for democracy
Senior Congress leader Tharoor has written that this is a very humiliating moment for any democracy. It is a violation of every Indian standard of decency to treat a woman protester in this way, but to do so with a Lok Sabha MP is a stumbling block. I condemn the conduct of Delhi Police and demand accountability. Speaker Om Birla please take action.

Jyotimani recorded the video in the bus
In the video, Lok Sabha MP from Karur Tamil Nadu, Jyotimani is complaining to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, telling that Delhi Police is taking her to an unknown place. They are not even being given drinking water. There are 8 more women with him in the bus, but the police is also refusing to give water to the vendors. We are Lok Sabha MPs and women. Police cannot treat us like this, it will not be tolerated.
