In Kerala’s Adoor, a minor was raped thrice and gang-raped once in the last 8 months. The accused were his friends and acquaintances. In June 2023, the girl was raped by her boyfriend. Police has arrested five people in this case.
According to news agency PTI, police officials said that the matter came to the fore through the District Child Welfare Committee. As soon as we got information about the matter, we recorded the statement of the girl. After registering the case, he was sent for medical test.
In December 2022, the girl was allegedly raped by her friend Shakti. After this, a boy named Anoop sexually assaulted her. Then Anoop took Shakti, Abhijeet and Arvind to his house. Here everyone except Arvind gang-raped her. The girl’s boyfriend Sumesh raped her in June 2023.
After getting the information, the police registered a case of gangrape in the first week of July. Two days later, Sumesh was arrested and sent to judicial custody. Other accused were arrested on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
