majithia: Photos of MLA Bikram Singh Majithia in Golden Temple go viral | Ludhiana News – Times of India

LUDHIANA: As ‘missing’ posters of former cabinet minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MLA Bikram Singh Majithia were seen pasted across Amritsar, the official page of Youth Akali Dal late on Saturday posted photos of Majithia at the Golden Temple, without any indication of when these were clicked.
Majithia, who is the brother-in-law of SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, has not been seen in public since he was booked by Punjab Police under NDPS Act on December 20. The Punjab police have been conducting raids but have not been able to nab the Akali legislator. Majithia’s pre-arrest bail plea was rejected by Mohali court and Punjab and Haryana high court will hear the case next week.

The 10.30 pm YAD post has been shared by multiple numbers of Facebook IDs, especially those linked with supporters and leaders of the two parties. The post has multiple photographs of Majithia paying obeisance at different religious spots inside the Golden Temple complex. There is no mention about whether these photographs were taken on Saturday or are old ones.

The posts have been flooded with comments in support of Majithia and challenging Congress leaders by hailing Majithia and comparing him to a lion and using slogans like “Lion is Back.”
Incidentally, several known SAD and YAD faces, including Gurdeep Singh Gosha, Talvir Singh Gill, and Prabhjot Singh Dhaliwal were present in the Golden Temple complex at the time this post went viral.
