Uddhav Thackeray wrote a letter to the Deputy Speaker, Narhari Zirwal, to suspend 16 rebel MLAs from Shiv Sena. A notice is expected to be issued by Narhari Zirwal today, for which the answering period is believed to be 1-2 days for the rebel MLAs.
This comes after Eknath Shinde stormed off to Guwahati with a team of rebel MLAs after an argument on the cross-voting taking place during the MLC elections in Maharashtra.
