Mansa court has given 7-day police remand to gangster Lawrence, who was brought from Tihar Jail to Punjab. Now Lawrence will be questioned in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. The Punjab Police left Delhi at around 8.30 pm on Tuesday night regarding Lawrence. After this it reached Mansa at 3.30 am via Panipat, Sonipat and Karnal.
The police got his medical checkup done at 4 am. The police took his remand after presenting him in the court at 4.30 am. He has been first brought to the CIA Staff Office in Kharar, Mohali for questioning. He is being interrogated here.
At first the police said that Lawrence was being shifted to a secret place. However, now it has come to the fore that Lawrence is in Kharar itself. The police have taken two henchmen of Goldie Brar, close to Lawrence, to two places. From which the weapons used in the Musewala murder case can be recovered. Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) is probing the entire case.
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on 29 May in Jawaharke, Mansa. There were 24 bullet wounds on his body.
2 bulletproof vehicles, videographed all the way
Lawrence’s security was questioned by his lawyer. The lawyer had told the threat of a fake encounter of Lawrence. However, the police brought Lawrence to Punjab safely in 2 bulletproof vehicles. A team of 50 officers was present during this. The entire route was sanitized as soon as it entered Punjab. The entire route was videographed. Now a tight security cordon has been placed around Lawrence. Only select officers are allowed to approach Lawrence.

Why is Lawrence important in the Musewala massacre?
Two hours after the murder of Punjabi singer Moosewala, gangster Goldie Brar, sitting in Canada, took responsibility for the murder. Goldie is close to gangster Lawrence, so Lawrence’s role in it is believed to be fixed. The Special Cell of Delhi Police also claimed that Lawrence was the mastermind behind Moosewala’s murder.
After Moosewala’s murder, Lawrence’s nephew Sachin Thapan also said that we have killed Moosewala. The murder of Lawrence’s college friend Vicky Middukheda, who was killed in Mohali from Moosewala, has been avenged.
