First read that story of 52 years ago…

This is a matter of 1970. Fifty two years ago. In terms of days and months, this is definitely an age. I lived this age with Sharad Yadav ji. Lived a lot Fierce friendship and differences of law too. With the news of his demise, I suddenly feel very weak. He was my strength.

According to very active parliamentary politics, he arrived in Bihar in 1991. And since then he remained here, being all of us. He won the Lok Sabha election from Madhepura. Ramendra Kumar Ravi got the ticket. Sharad Bhai was made to fight in his place. This was the era of Janata Dal. BP Singh’s government had fallen. He played a big role in making Lalu Prasad the Chief Minister.

Some of the big leaders of the party unanimously wanted to make Ramsunder Das the chief minister. Raghunath Jha also entered the fray. In such a situation, Lalu Prasad could become the Chief Minister only because of Sharad Bhai. Sharad Bhai also led JDU. National coordinator of NDA. In this form, his desire was to keep everyone together. Although he did not succeed

Senior RJD leader and former minister Shyam Rajak, who was an ally of Sharad Yadav, has paid tribute to him. remembering them that When Lalu Yadav became the Chief Minister in 1990, Sharad Yadav played the biggest role in it. Sharad Yadav and Chandrashekhar together pitted dummy candidate Raghunath Jha against Lalu Yadav. A meeting of the Legislature Party was held near the Brijmohan memorial of this Sadakat Ashram and the leader was elected. Then more and more people had given their support in favor of Lalu Yadav.

Shyam Rajak says that in 2013, Sharad Yadav had a big role in forming the Grand Alliance. Even in 2022, Sharad Yadav played a big role in bringing together Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar. It was Sharad who had talked to CM Nitish Kumar as well and had also re-prepared Lalu Yadav for this alliance. The grand alliance that has been formed today is entirely due to Sharad Yadav.

Rahul Gandhi visited his residence in Chhatarpur and paid tribute to him.

Sharad Yadav was such a politician who was elected MP from three states Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh…

He was elected MP 4 times from Madhepura in Bihar, 2 times from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and 1 time from Badaun in Uttar Pradesh. For the first time in the country, under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the government was formed under the leadership of BJP, and he also became the convenor of that NDA coalition.

Now his son is a member of RJD, while daughter Subhashini Yadav contested from Congress for the first time in the last Bihar assembly elections. Sharad himself became an MP for the first time in the year 1974.

He was also a Rajya Sabha MP in the years 1986 and 2014. In the year 1989-90, he became the Minister of Textiles and Food Processing in the Central Government for the first time. He became the Union Civil Aviation Minister in 1999, Labor Minister in 2001 and Consumer Affairs in 2002.

He scripted many important stages of politics
Sharad Yadav was the pivot of Bihar politics for almost three decades. Bihar remained the center of his politics from 1990 till his last breath. From making Lalu Yadav the CM to doing politics against him for 18 years and merging his party with RJD in March 2022, Bihar was somewhere in his every political initiative.

When Lalu Yadav had a successful kidney transplant, he had expressed a happy reaction on social media. He also addressed the national convention of RJD held in Delhi. Overall, it was Sharad Yadav who scripted many important milestones in the politics of Bihar in the last three decades. Whether it is to make Lalu the CM, to support Nitish Kumar against him, to use the grand alliance in the state or to return to the RJD. Autumn should be in everyone’s center.

He used to say about those who used to see political understanding in those who met him… This is a political man. The intention was to understand the society, with this formula, he created a generation of socialist thinking leaders in the Hindi heartland. Especially in Bihar.

He was very close to Nitish Kumar. But, when Nitish Kumar left the Grand Alliance in 2017, such a sourness arose between Sharad-Nitish that he was expelled from JDU. Sharad tried to unite the opposition in 2019. Then he again came close to Lalu Prasad.

He started a joint heritage tour with opposition leaders across the country. His closeness with Rahul Gandhi also increased. Sharad Yadav started keeping ill after losing the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He used to speak bluntly.

Because of this many times he also came in controversies. He was a strong voice for the interests of the backward and was the leading face of the Mandal movement.
