Joshimath city has sunk up to 5.4 cm in just 12 days. This information has been received from the satellite images released by ISRO. ISRO released the pictures and said that between 27 December 2022 and 8 January 2023, the city has sunk 5.4 cm. Even before this, between April 2022 and November 2022, Joshimath had sunk down by 9 cm.
