Jharkhand: Section-144 implemented in Ichak area after clash between two communities in Hazaribagh, know the whole matter

After which Section 144 of CrPC has been imposed in the area. A senior officer of Hazaribagh Police gave this information on Sunday. He said that this prohibitory order was imposed on Saturday night, which will continue till further orders. Also, seven people from both the communities have been arrested.

Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratan Chothe said that an FIR has been registered in this regard in Ichak police station area on Saturday evening. It has been accused of allegedly creating communal unrest in front of a religious place of a particular community in Darji Mohalla area under Ichak police station area.

According to the information, three miscreants allegedly abused some people of other community while celebrating Holi under the influence of alcohol, which was opposed. During this an altercation broke out between the two sides. Gradually this altercation turned into a clash between the two communities. During this, three shops in the area were torched.

After which SDO Hazaribagh Sadar Vidya Bhushan Kumar controlled the situation by visiting the spot. Four people injured in the clash have been admitted to Hazaribagh Medical College. where he is being treated. The SDO said that the situation was brought under control with the timely intervention of the police.

A team of Rapid Action Force (RAF) along with adequate police force has been deployed in the area to maintain law and order. He said that the police is conducting raids to arrest the other culprits.
