Doctors put attendance in manual register instead of biometric Following a call by the Jharkhand Health Services Association (JHSA), doctors reached their workplace offices, hospitals and health centers on time, but did not put thumb impression in the biometric attendance machine to register the protest. Instead, they signed in the manual attendance register, said a JHSA functionary.
Salary of some medical officers withheld for December: JHSA The JHSA alleged that the health department has withheld the December salary of some medical officers and deducted the salary of some others, whose biometric attendance was not completed.
Not all medical officers boycotted: Director of Health Health Director Dr. Krishna Kumar said, Deputy Directors of Health Directorate, Ranchi today registered their attendance through biometric system. So it cannot be said that all the medical authorities have boycotted it.
