Jaya Bachchan made a rare appearance on Wednesday night, as she stepped out to attend daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s birthday bash. The veteran actress, dressed in an elegant white attire, seemed annoyed as the paparazzi went on a clicking spree. In a video being shared on Instagram, an irritated Jaya Bachchan is seen making a hand gesture while exiting the bash. The white theme bash was also attended by Karan JoharSidharth Malhotra, Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan, Anaya Panday, Natasha PoonawallaManish Malhotra and Shanaya Kapoor among others.
In the past too, Jaya Bachchan has had icy encounters and a love-hate relationship with the paparazzi. Back in 2013, the veteran actress had schooled them for calling out her daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan by her first name. “Aishwarya kya hota hai (What is Aishwarya)? Is she your school friend,” Jaya Bachchan had asked.
On the work front, Jaya Bachchan was last seen on the big screen in Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Ki and Ka’. Up next, the ‘Sholay’ actress has signed up for Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
