A Pakistani soldier who tried to enter India by crossing the LOC in the Keran sector of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir was gunned down by the Indian Army. Information about this was given by the army on Sunday. A senior army officer said – The soldier killed during the infiltration has been identified as Mohammad Shabbir Malik. He could be a member of Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT).

Major General AS Pandharkar said- As soon as we came to know about the infiltration, we killed the intruder. This action by Pakistan is a complete violation of the ceasefire agreement. An AK-47 rifle, some other weapons and 7 hand grenades were also found from the deceased. India has asked Pakistan to take the body of its soldier through the hotline. The Pakistan Army has not commented on this.
The intruder had a Pakistani ID card
The intruder was identified by Pakistani ID card and vaccination certificate.
Pandharkar said – On Saturday evening, a man was noticed with a weapon in Pakistani area near LAC. After this, its movement was continuously monitored and when it tried to enter the Indian border, it was killed. During the investigation, Pakistani ID card and Kovid vaccination certificate have been found from it. This incident shows that Pakistan is continuously promoting terrorism along the Indian border.
