Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that this expressway from Delhi to Mumbai will not only work to connect the states but also the culture of Haryana with the modernization of Mumbai.

He said that with the number of projects received in the last 8 years, more doors of development will open for Haryana. The government will work to increase Haryana’s exports. It will now be easy to take the products made in Haryana to the ports of the country.

Government starting three more projects
At the inauguration ceremony of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Nuh, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that the people of Nuh would benefit the most from the expressway. Fast development becomes possible only when the infrastructure is strong. Gurugram, Nuh and Faridabad will be benefited as e-commerce is increasing in the coming times. The foundation stone of three other projects of the state is also being laid. Government is working for connectivity of Sohna, Nuh, Alwar.

Gadkari saw the control room
Prior to the inauguration, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari reached Sohna in Gurugram. There he inspected the control center of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The Haryana CM along with Gadkari virtually attended the inauguration ceremony of several projects of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and National Highway in Nuh. Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, VK Singh, Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh were also present with him on this occasion.

1385 kilometer long expressway
This expressway going from Delhi to Mumbai is the longest expressway in the world. Its total length is about 1385 km. It will pass through 6 states Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Presently this expressway is of 8 lanes. It can be made 12 lanes in the coming days.

Will pass through Gurugram in Haryana
It is believed that this expressway will prove to be the expressway of progress of the country in true sense. It will enter Haryana from Delhi. After this it will reach from Alwar, Dausa, Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara and Mumbai via Gurugram. This expressway is under construction since 9 March 2019 and is expected to be completed by March 2023.
