An eighteen-year-old student studying at a coaching centre in Kota, Rajasthan, reportedly died by suicide in his PG room this morning. According to NDTV, he was preparing for the Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE).

The student was identified as a Jharkhand native who had been preparing for JEE-Mains to gain admission to the country’s top engineering colleges, such as IITs. He had spent the previous two years in Kota. This happens to be the fourth case of alleged suicide by a student studying at a coaching centre in Kota this year.
