The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will get underway from October 5 in Ahmedabad with defending champions England squaring off against New Zealand.
The tickets for the semifinals and final of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will go on sale today (September 15), the International Cricket Council has announced.
The tickets will go on sale from 8 PM (IST) onwards and can be bought from the official ticket website for the ODI World Cup (https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com).

“Starting tomorrow, Friday 15 September at 20h00 IST, fans can secure their seats for the semi-finals and the final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 by visiting the official ticketing website,” ICC said in a media release.
The latest tickets release involves the following matches
- 15 November, Semi-final 1: Wankhede stadium in Mumbai
- 16 November, Semi-final 2: Eden Gardens in Kolkata
- 19 November, Final: Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad
The 2023 ICC ODI World Cup will get underway from October 5 in Ahmedabad when defending champions England take on New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
As many as 10 top cricket nations from around the world will be part of the over two-month long ODI World Cup which India is solely hosting for the first time in its history.
India has played host to the marquee event before in 1987, 1996 and 2011 but as co-hosts.
India lifted the ODI world cup trophy the last time they hosted it in 2011 when they beat former champions Sri Lanka in the final at the Wankhede Stadium.
As many as 48 matches will be played between October 6 and November 19 across 10 venues in India including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Dharamsala, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune and Bengaluru.
Each time will play nine matches and the top-four will progress to the semifinals.
16 umpires have been named to officiate during the 13th ODI World Cup which include 12 from Elite Panel of ICC Umpires.
Four match referees have also been appointed including Jeff Crowe, Andy Pycroft, Richie Richardson and Javagal Srinath.
For the tournament opener, Nitin Menon and Kumar Dharamsena will be the two on-field umpires with Srinath being the match referee. Paul Wilson is the TV umpire.
