Charul Honariya hails from the village of Kartarpur in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh and the family’s livelihood depended on her father’s small-scale farming. On his modest plot of land and as a labourer for other farms, Charul’s father used to put in a lot of effort throughout the year.

With barely around Rs 8,000 in total family income each month, Charul’s father had a challenging time supporting his family of seven. 18-year-old Charul put a lot of effort into achieving her objective but never gave up on her childhood dream of becoming a doctor.

In Class 6, Charul began to improve her rusty English language abilities. When she was in Class 10, she quickly made use of her enthusiasm for learning and began preparing for the NEET medical admission exam. She ultimately applied for a scholarship and enrolled in a top NEET coaching centre because her family lacked enough money for private coaching.
