Heatwave likely in 7 states
According to the Meteorological Department, maximum temperatures will be above normal during the three months of summer in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh and eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh. Heatwave days will be longer than normal.

In the summer season, heatwave days usually occur for 6-10 days in different states of the country. In the north-west states of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh, the temperature will be normal or below normal and the heatwave will also be short. Temperatures will be above normal in some parts of Punjab and Haryana.

Uttarakhand: Badrinath Dham in the sheet of snow
The rain and snowfall in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand is continuing for the last three days. Due to this, the cold has increased in the hilly areas. There was heavy snowfall once again in Badrinath Dham on Saturday. Please tell that Chardham Yatra is starting from 22 April.

Chance of rain in rest of the region except Northeast
The first fortnight of April can be respite from the heat. A western disturbance will knock on 3-4 April. After this, the temperature will start increasing. East UP, Bihar, West Bengal, southern parts of MP are expected to have more than normal heatwave in April. On the other hand, except in the areas of Northeast and East India and East Coast, more rain is expected in April.

Chances of El-Nino between July and September
Now La-Nina is over and El-Nino condition is not there. Dr. Mrityunjay Mohapatra, Director General, Meteorological Department, said that these are ENSO neutral conditions, but our prediction models are indicating that El-Nino may be active during July to September. In general, El Nino is not good for the monsoon.

Weather changed again in MP, rain in 32 districts, hail fell in 10
