Gangster Lawrence will move the Supreme Court against the custody of Punjab Police. Lawrence’s lawyer Vishal Chopra said that his client is being tortured by the Punjab Police. That is why it was presented in the court earlier at 4 in the morning and now at 10 in the night.
We will not be given a chance to present our side. We will file a writ petition against it in the Supreme Court. In which video recording and medical report will be sought. Lawrence has been brought by Punjab Police from Tihar Jail on production warrant in connection with the murder of Sidhu Musewala.

Why the night appearance in the rain, is the Punjab Police hiding?
The Punjab Police without any reason produced Lawrence in the magistrate’s house last night itself at 10 pm in the rain. Lawrence’s remand was taken. After all, what was the need of Punjab Police? After all, what does the Punjab Police want to hide? It is clear from this that third degree torture is being done to our client. There was no protest while taking remand, so the Punjab Police did this. Till date this has not been done anywhere. Lawrence has been produced in open court in Delhi.

Vishal Chopra said that Lawrence’s 7-day remand was ending. We had prepared a full legal team. Apart from this, applications will also be given that they should be examined by AIMS. We also asked for video recordings of every hour.

Advocate Vishal Chopra said that the Punjab Police produced Lawrence in the court at 4 am. Lawrence’s lawyer was not there at the time. Lawrence’s 7-day remand was taken from the court. After this the lawyer is not being allowed to meet Lawrence. He said that orders of the Supreme Court such as no interrogation and third degree torture in video cameras are also being violated.
